Empty Promises is an Orlando-based art collective dedicated to creating, showcasing, and fostering a vibrant creative community. More than just a platform, EP is a space where artists turn their empty promises into realities–whether it’s finally starting a passion project, releasing work, or exploring new ideas without limitations. 

Founded by three women; Ilana Martinez, Charlize Irizarry, and Thein Cordero — Empty Promises was born from our shared desire to build a creative space we once wished for. Recognizing the lack of opportunities for emerging and independent artists, we set out to create a collective that prioritizes artistic freedom, and collaboration. 

At EP, we believe in the power of connection. Through our collaborative projects, events, and our self-published zine, we celebrate the diversity of artistic expression—bringing together visual artists, musicians, photographers, filmmakers, and many other disciplines. 

Empty Promises isn’t just about making art–it’s about building a movement. One where artists feel seen, supported, and empowered to redefine what’s possible..
